Changbai Mountain Siberian Tiger Park

The Siberian Tiger Park is located at the foot of the majestic Changbai Mountain, the homeland of the Siberian tiger, nestled within the vast expanse of the Changbai Mountain range. Covering an area of 50 hectares, it is an ecological forest park primarily featuring large feline species and the forest’s king of beasts—the Siberian tiger. It serves as a base for the protection, research, breeding, and appreciation of endangered species.

The park currently houses 12 wild-trained Siberian tigers. Also known as the Amur tiger, the Siberian tiger is a subspecies typically found in cold regions, often inhabiting mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests, rocky mountain areas, stone outcrops, and shrublands. Most people rarely have the chance to see a Siberian tiger in the wild, but at the park, visitors can take specially designed vehicles into the tigers’ forest habitat or walk along elevated boardwalks to directly observe their wild training, study their living habits, and even feed them meat, chickens, or cattle up close. This allows for face-to-face interaction with these majestic animals.
