Located in the southeastern suburbs of Changbai County, within Minzhu Village, Changbai Town. The site is approximately 870 meters long from east to west and about 459 meters wide from north to south, with a cultural layer about 2 meters thick, covering a total area of 39,933 square meters. In May 1990, experts collected charcoal samples from the site, which were dated to the Neolithic Age through carbon-14 testing. On February 26, 1999, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit by the People's Government of Jilin Province. Based on unearthed pottery and stone tools, the Democratic Site represents the historical civilization of northeastern ethnic minorities and stands as a culturally representative heritage site in Eastern and world civilization, possessing significant historical, scientific, and cultural value. It provides a rich scientific basis for studying the cultural landscape of the county and even the upper reaches of the Yalu River during the same period.
