The former site of the Siping-Tao'an Railway Bureau was established as part of efforts to resist foreign aggression and protect state-owned resources in a specific historical context. Construction began in 1916 with the building of the Siping-Tao'an Railway. The North Station Historical and Cultural Block of the Siping-Tao'an Railway is home to a gathering of notable historical figures and has witnessed many significant historical events. A local historian from Siping described it as the “cradle of anti-imperialism, patriotism, and resistance against Japan” during the Japanese puppet regime period.
