Siping Museum
The Siping Museum in Jilin Province was established in 1958. It is under the administration of the Siping Municipal Bureau of Culture, Press and Publication. The museum houses a total of 5,802 collections, divided into five major categories: unearthed relics, heirloom artifacts, calligraphy and paintings, ancient coins, and miscellaneous items.
It hosts exhibitions such as the "World's Large Rare Insects Exhibition" and the "Fine Works of Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition," attracting over 80,000 visitors annually. Professionals from the museum have published works including "A Brief History of Siping Culture," "Northeast ??," and "Environment and Archaeology of the Horqin Sandy Land," all published by Jilin People's Publishing House.
