The Heishantou Site is a location where artifacts from both the Neolithic Age and the Bronze Age coexist. There is an ancient tomb on the mountain, commonly known as the “Tazi Tomb.” The mountain ridge runs from the southwest to the northeast, and the surface is scattered with stone tools and pottery. Stone tools include microliths and polished stone tools: the microliths show traces of processing all over their surfaces; the polished stone tools are even and smooth. Pottery can be divided into two types: clay-based and sand-tempered.

Chaoyangpo Town is located in the northern part of Gongzhuling City. To the east, it neighbors Liufangzi and Heilinzi Towns; to the north, it connects with Dayushu Town; to the west, it faces Lishu County across the Dongliao River. The town covers a total area of 136 square kilometers, with a population of 30,000 and cultivated land spanning 9,000 hectares. The terrain is flat and the soil is fertile. Two rivers run across the entire town. As part of the eastern section of the Horqin Grassland, the plains are lush and green, abundant in produce, blessed with beautiful scenery and remarkable people. It is a shining pearl nestled along the Dongliao River and is hailed as a satellite city of Gongzhuling.
