Dayingchengzi Ancient City is a city site from the Jin Dynasty. The site is roughly rectangular in shape, with relics including bricks, tiles, and ceramic fragments. The bricks and tiles are grey, with woven patterns on the inner side of the tiles. The ceramic fragments include gray clay pottery, red clay pottery, and red pottery mixed with sand. All are wheel-made, mostly plain-surfaced, with only a few showing added ridge patterns, some featuring chicken-head-shaped ear ornaments. The porcelain pieces are all coated with white glaze, slightly yellowish in color, and include vessels such as bowls and jars. There are also fragments of soy-sauce-colored glazed pottery and Liao Dynasty tri-color ware.

Its geographical coordinates are 124°49′ east longitude and 43°34′ north latitude, with an elevation of 184 meters. The climate is temperate continental monsoon, with distinct seasons. The average annual temperature is 5.1°C, the multi-year average precipitation is 630 mm, and the frost-free period lasts about 135 to 140 days.
