Dongdazhangzi Ancient Tombs

The Dongdazhangzi Ancient Tombs are a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Dongdazhangzi Warring States Tombs in Jianchang, Liaoning, are located in Jianchang County, Liaoning Province, covering an area of over 100,000 square meters. Built between the 3rd century BC and the 5th century BC, the tomb complex has been remarkably well-preserved. Its high status and large scale are extremely rare in northeastern China and even across the entire Northeast Asia region. In 2012, it was named one of the “Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries of 2011.”

Protected Area: With the center at the cement bridge in Dongdazhangzi Village (119°35′30″E, 40°37′58″N) as the reference point, the protected area extends 200 meters east and south, and 500 meters west and north.

Construction Control Zone: A Class I construction control zone lies within 50 meters outside the protected area.
