The Guan Family Genealogical Stele is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The Guan Family Genealogical Stele Inscription, also known as the Guan Family Genealogical Stele, was carved in the 26th year of the Zhiyuan era during the Yuan Dynasty (1289 AD). This stele, hewn from local bluish sandstone, records the loyal and filial deeds of the local Guan family, as well as the tragic aftermath of war — “a bleak, deserted land littered with corpses.”

The stele is tall and exquisitely carved, possessing significant historical and calligraphic artistic value. It was designated as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province in 1997.

Protected area: within 30 meters in all four directions — east, south, west, and north — from the stele as the center point.

Construction control zone: a secondary construction control zone within 30 meters outside the protected area.

Niangniangmiao Township: The name “Niangniangmiao” (Temple of the Goddess) comes from a temple in the village that enshrines the Goddess.

● Geographic Location

The geographic coordinates of Niangniangmiao Township are 120°06′ east longitude and 40°42′ north latitude. It is located in the easternmost part of Jianchang County, bordering Liujiazi Town of Chaoyang to the east, Erdaowanzi to the south, Wafangzi Town of Chaoyang to the north, and separated by mountains from Guzhangzi to the west. The total area of the township is 76 square kilometers.
