Shangguchengzi Tomb Cluster

The Shangguchengzi Tomb Cluster is a cultural heritage site protected by Liaoning Province.

The Shangguchengzi Tomb Cluster is located northeast of Shangguchengzi Village, Liudaohexi Township, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning Province. It covers a relatively large area, stretching over 200 meters from north to south. In the 1950s, surveys recorded more than 200 tombs, but only 35 remain today. There are two types: stone mound tombs and square platform stone mound tombs. Tomb No. 1 has an irregular oval shape, measuring 9.7 meters in length and 7.2 meters in width, with a depression on the top where the burial chamber is located. The square platform stone mound tomb features large stones placed at the four corners, resembling a square platform—Tomb No. 3 is also of this type. There is also a multi-chamber tomb with dimensions of 19.7 meters in length, 10.2 meters in width, and 2.5 meters in height, featuring four depressions. Additionally, there is a serial tomb, where the burial chambers are divided into eastern and western sections by large stone slabs, with each section containing two depressions.
