Babao Town Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural relic protection unit of Kaiyuan City.

Babao Town Martyrs' Cemetery: Located on the mountainside of Hebei Village in Babao Town, the cemetery covers an area of 200 square meters and is the burial site of some officers and soldiers of the Northeast People's Liberation Army who sacrificed their lives during the battle to liberate Kaiyuan.

In 1972, the former Babao Tun People's Commune of Kaiyuan County erected a monument at the martyrs' cemetery. Every year on Tomb-Sweeping Day, residents of Babao Town and local schools spontaneously organize visits to the cemetery to pay tribute and honor the fallen heroes. Nearby villagers also take the initiative to fill soil around the martyrs' graves and maintain the site. Currently, the cemetery is in relatively good condition.

Protected area: 30 meters beyond the boundaries of the martyrs' cemetery itself.
