Hunhe River Source Wetland Park is located in Wandianzi Village and Kanchuan’gou Village, Wandianzi Town, Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, at the foot of Gunmaling Mountain — the source of the Hunhe River, which is the shared mother river of Shenyang and Fushun. The park covers a total area of over 4,900 acres, with a forest coverage rate as high as 87.9%, and is adjacent to Hou Lou Reservoir, a national medium-sized reservoir. It presents a beautiful landscape integrating mountain-water-forest scenery, the headwaters of the Hunhe River, natural wetlands, flowers, plants, fish, and birds, creating a natural painting beneath Gunmaling Mountain.

The water area of Hunhe River Source Wetland Park spans over 3,000 acres, all formed by natural willows and reeds, with over 300 acres of floral zones featuring more than 20 plant varieties such as verbena, butterfly flower, catnip, sunflower, zinnia, cosmos, gaillardia, ornamental chrysanthemum, and sulfur cosmos. The forested mountain area includes both conifers like Korean pine, larch, and red pine, as well as over ten rare deciduous tree species such as basswood, birch, oak, and maple, covering a forested area of over 1,000 acres.
