The Eighteen Rapids Rafting Scenic Area is located in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, the birthplace and cradle of the Qing Dynasty. It is just 98 kilometers from Shenyang, the provincial capital, making it very accessible. The rafting course starts at Pigeon Cave on Yuying River and ends at Chagou Bridge, both ends connecting to the Shenyang-Fushun Expressway. However, during the rainy season in late summer and early autumn, the abundant rainfall creates numerous “stream surges” landscapes.
