Fe Ala City

Fe Ala City is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Liaoning Province.

Fe Ala City is located south of Erdaohézi Village, Yongling Town, Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County. It was built in the 15th year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1587) by Nurhaci, the founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty. The city is divided into an inner and outer section, both constructed from stone, with walls 3 meters high. The outer city has a perimeter of 5 kilometers and four gates; the inner city has a perimeter of 2 kilometers and also four gates. Within the city, ruins such as towers, the Khan’s Hall, and the Son-in-law’s Mansion still remain.

Yongling Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County. It is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty. Established as Yongling Township in 1956, upgraded to a commune in 1958, and became a town in 1964. Located in the central part of the county, it covers an area of 409.5 square kilometers with a population of 28,000. The Shenyang–Tonghua and Xinbin–Fushun highways pass through the town. The Suizi River flows through the area. It administers Yangmulinzi, Yaopu, Dabao, Baijia, Lazigou, Lijia, Naji, Sejia, Jingang, Erdao, Erdaoxian, Banqiaozi, Laocheng, Laochengxian, Cuocao, Shucai, Qianjin, Hongqi, Tuanyuan, Xibao, Houbao, Houbaoxian, Houdaolazi and other areas… More detailed information on Yongling Town++
