In the western part of Guta District, Jinzhou City, there is a street named after a hero — "Shiying Street," which is also one of the main roads in downtown Jinzhou. When it comes to the origin of Shiying Street, all locals know the story: during the Battle of Liaoshen, when Jinzhou was under attack, the heroic Liang Shiying sacrificed himself by using his own body to blow up an enemy bunker, thus opening a path to victory for the liberation of Jinzhou. The heroic name "Liang Shiying" has influenced the healthy growth of generations of people in Jinzhou.

To commemorate Liang Shiying, after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Jinzhou Municipal Government renamed the North Railway Gate as Shiying Gate and renamed Zourong Road as Shiying Street. In 1950, the people of Jinzhou built a memorial tomb for Liang Shiying in the Martyrs' Cemetery and designated the site of his sacrifice as the "Site of Liang Shiying's Heroic Sacrifice to Destroy an Enemy Bunker" to forever honor this immortal people's hero. The "Site of Liang Shiying's Heroic Sacrifice to Destroy an Enemy Bunker" is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit, with a history of 56 years to date, and has always served as an important base for patriotic education.
