Ancient Pagoda Park, covering a total area of 12 hectares, is centered around the thousand-year-old Liao Dynasty pagoda as its highest point of interest, with the historic complex of Da Guangji Temple serving as a scenic backdrop. The park is divided into six main functional areas.

(1) Cultural Relics Tourist Area. This area takes advantage of religious and classical architectural complexes such as the Guangji Temple, the oldest and largest in China, built in the ninth year of the Qingning era of the Liao Dynasty (611 AD), and the largest Tianhou Palace in Liaoning, which was first constructed in the third year of the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty (1725 AD), to provide visitors with a venue showcasing the ethnic and religious culture of Jinzhou’s history.

(2) Senior Citizens’ Activity Area. Designed with landscape elements suitable for the elderly’s recreational activities, this area includes a 740-square-meter teahouse offering programs favored by seniors, creating a vibrant and fulfilling life for the elderly.

(3) Ornamental Plants Area. In addition to planting over a hundred varieties of precious trees, flowers, and local vegetation, this area also features a 750-square-meter ornamental greenhouse and a set of 165-square-meter warm corridors.

(4) Quiet Rest Area. With its tasteful and accessible garden design, this area provides visitors with a pleasant spot for strolling and resting. In addition to winding paths and beautiful flower stands, a group of rest corridors totaling 125 square meters offers a beautiful and cool place for visitors to relax.

(5) Children’s Activity Area. Designed with a playful approach, this area includes a set of rubber-floor tiles, a children’s wall, and a “Five Elements” (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth) square, along with five sets of children’s play equipment — making it an ideal place for kids to play and develop their intelligence.

(6) Stone Forest Viewing Area. Using petrified wood, a specialty of western Liaoning, as the main material, this area employs various landscaping techniques to create a “man-made yet natural” stone forest scenic spot, offering visitors an enigmatic and elegant experience.
