Bijia Mountain

--Bijia Mountain is a renowned Taoist sacred site. The mountain features three peaks—two lower and one higher—shaped like a brush rack, hence its name.

--Legend has it that this was where Pangu created the world. It boasts numerous cultural relics and historic sites, as well as a dense concentration of natural attractions.

--The area features beautiful landscapes, a pleasant environment, abundant natural resources, well-developed living facilities, and convenient transportation.

--Each time the tide recedes, a “sky bridge” about 30 meters wide and two kilometers long emerges between the mountain and the coast, passable by vehicles and horses. With the tides rising and falling twice daily, this phenomenon is a world wonder and a unique sight.

--The Sanqing Pavilion atop the main peak features exquisite carvings and unique architecture. From the top of the pavilion, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and sky blending into one.

Transportation

Bijia Mountain is located in the western part of Liaoning Province in northeastern China.

1. Bus (Train Station – Bijia Mountain)

The bus to Bijia Mountain departs from the west side of Jinzhou Railway Station. Buses run from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an average frequency of one every 15 minutes. The journey takes 45 minutes and costs 20 yuan.

2. Speedboat (Shore – Bijia Mountain)

When planning your trip to Bijia Mountain, please refer to the tide schedule. During low tide, you can walk from the shore to the mountain for sightseeing. Along the way, you might even find small marine creatures that didn’t make it back to the sea in time—an exciting surprise. The distance from the shore to Bijia Mountain is about 2 kilometers, and it takes around 2 hours before the tide comes back in, so you can explore with peace of mind.

There are several safe and fast speedboats at Bijia Mountain that shuttle between the island and the shore. The operators are experienced fishermen, so you can ride with confidence. The fare is 15 yuan.
