YouBike is now available in New Taipei City's Shuanghe District too ! Up to 13 stations will be added by the end of the year

Residents in Shuanghe District, New Taipei City, can now enjoy the convenience of YouBike starting today ! The New Taipei City Government announced that the Yong’an Market, Xiushan Elementary School, and Fuhe Junior High School stations will officially open for service on the 15th, and the number of rental stations in Shuanghe District will increase to 13 by the end of the year.
Zhao Shaolian, Director of the New Taipei City Department of Transportation, stated that currently there are 24 YouBike stations across New Taipei City with 50 bikes. He hopes that as the number of stations continues to expand, not only will public usage increase, but it will also help alleviate the long-standing issues of insufficient parking space and traffic congestion in the area. Zhao also mentioned that by the end of this year, the number of YouBike rental stations in the city will reach 60.
