Haicheng Shanxi Guild Hall

The Haicheng Shanxi Guild Hall is a cultural relics protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The Haicheng Shanxi Guild Hall is located in Haicheng City, Liaoning Province, and is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit. According to the *Haicheng County Annals*, the Shanxi Guild Hall was first built in the 21st year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1682), and was later renovated and maintained with donations from Shanxi merchants in Haicheng, serving as the Shanxi Guild Hall.

"Shanxi Guild Hall." It is located on the eastern side of Xinghai Administrative District, to the west of the "Three Learning Temples," approximately 1.5 li (about 0.75 km) south of the Haicheng River. Its orientation is north-facing. Originally constructed as a temple building during the Qing Dynasty, the site was expanded and renovated in the 21st year of the Kangxi reign (1682) and repurposed as the Shanxi Guild Hall. After another renovation in the third year of the Republic of China, it was converted into the Guan Yu Temple. In 1987, it was allocated to the Haicheng City Cultural Relics Preservation Office for use and began undergoing restoration. Due to damage from natural disasters and the Cultural Revolution, structures such as the east and west wing rooms and the stage were severely deteriorated. In 1989, it was designated as a "Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Liaoning."
