Located in Jiulongdi Town, Gaizhou City, south of Crescent Bay, this tourist area boasts 5,000 acres of coastal defense forest. In spring, the fragrant blossoms of the locust trees fill the air, refreshing the heart and mind. A stroll through the woods is a truly uplifting experience. Compared to other seaside tourist destinations, Fairy Island has three distinctive features: First is the golden sunset glow—during low tide at Fairy Island, a thousand-meter stretch of beach emerges from the sea, and the setting sun casts its rays upon it, scattering countless golden beads across the sand in a spectacular display.

The second is the surging tides of Rabbit Island. Fairy Island is also known as Rabbit Island, where steep cliffs plunge vertically into the sea. Looking down from the clifftop, the waves crash against the shore with breathtaking force. The third feature is the “forest of wind turbines.” In recent years, dozens of wind power generators have been erected on Fairy Island, their rotating blades adding another scenic highlight. The tourist area now features resort facilities in various styles, offering visitors opportunities for leisure and vacation activities.
