Beihai Beach is located in Beihai Village, Tuanshan Management Area, Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province. It lies at the 38-kilometer mark of the Yingkou Coastal Highway, 5 kilometers west of the Gaizhou exit on the Shenyang–Dalian Expressway, and 12 kilometers west of the Qinghe Roundabout on National Highway 202 in Gaizhou. The climate in Beihai is mild, the beach is gently sloped, and the water quality is excellent. Due to its relatively low level of development, pollution is minimal. Ninety percent of the villagers in Beihai make a living from fishing, and the local culture is simple and honest. On the northern side of Beihai Beach is the Sea-Erosion Dragon Palace Street, where a variety of uniquely shaped reefs and rocks allow visitors to enjoy the spectacular scenery reminiscent of an underwater dragon palace.
