Xuemao Mountain is located in Jiuzhai Town, Gaizhou City. With steep terrain, dense forests, and a primitive, picturesque landscape, the mountain boasts fertile soil and rich vegetation. It is home to dozens of broadleaf tree species covering nearly a thousand acres, as well as hundreds of varieties of medicinal herbs and wild vegetables. The area enjoys continuous blooms throughout the four seasons. Dozens of wild animals also inhabit the region, where squirrels and pheasants can often be seen leaping through the hills, and deer, roe deer, badgers, foxes, and other creatures move through the forest. The whole of Xuemao Mountain is like a natural wildlife park.
