Syringa Garden
Syringa Garden is located within the Beijing Botanical Garden, covering an area of 3.5 hectares. It was established in 1958 and has collected over 20 species (including varieties and cultivars) of syringa, with more than 1,000 plants.
Thanks to the wide variety, the blooming period of syringas usually lasts for over a month during April and May each year.
Syringa Garden and Peach Blossom Garden together form a complete ornamental plant area, and are also divided into two relatively independent spaces by plants. After mid-April, when both the syringas and peach blossoms are in full bloom, this becomes a major scenic spot for viewing peach blossoms during the Beijing Peach Blossom Festival.
