The Shangkouzi Village Film and Television Base in Xi’an Town is located in Shangkouzi Village, Xi’an Town, Dawan County. The village has 860 households and a population of 2,960, with 8,400 mu of arable land. The village boasts a beautiful environment, abundant resources, and convenient transportation. It is an ecological village with rice cultivation, aquaculture, animal husbandry, and tourism as its main industries.

On August 20, 2008, the 30-episode TV series "Golden Farmhouse," a tribute to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, jointly produced by the Publicity Department of the Liaoning Provincial Committee and Liaoning TV Station, and filmed by the Film and Television Department of the Art Center of CCTV, began shooting in Shangkouzi Village. Seizing this opportunity, the village fully integrated local resources, continuously intensified the development of its tourism industry, and vigorously promoted the construction of a rural film and television base. The base mainly features eight key TV drama filming spots, including the home of the village Party secretary Jin Cheng (from the drama), the home of Daju (from the drama), and the Great Northeast Supermarket. There is also a 400-meter-long fruit and vegetable picking corridor, featuring crops such as grapes, loofahs, and pumpkins. Additionally, four new farmhouse-style artisanal eateries and a waterside sightseeing pavilion by a lotus pond have been built.
