The Golden Ball 1948 Eco-Farm scenic area is located in Xi’an Town, Dawan County. Established in 1975, this tourist destination integrates breeding, planting, energy, and environmental protection organically based on ecological principles. It has pioneered the world-renowned “Four-Step Purification, Five-Step Utilization” eco-farming model, which uses water as a medium and aquatic feed as the core.
Xi’an Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dawan County. It was established as Xi’an Township in 1958, renamed Xi’an Farm in 1959, reinstated as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1994. Located in the eastern part of the county, it is 26 kilometers from the county seat, covers an area of 85 square kilometers, and has a population of 27,000. The town is accessible by road. It administers 14 village committees: Gaokan, Liujia, Xiaowa, Sanjiazi, Hanjia, Bajiazi, Taoyuan, Lianggou, Wangjiatang, Shangkouzi, Wabianzi, Sanglinzi, Gaokanwan, and Xi’anpu.
