Panjin Zhenxing Eco-Tourism Scenic Area is a National AA-level tourist attraction.

Panjin Zhenxing Eco-Tourism Scenic Area is a Global 500, National 2A-level scenic area, a national organic food production base, and a model farm for pollution-free agricultural products designated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The Zhenxing Eco-Tourism Scenic Area is affiliated with Liaoning Zhenxing Ecological Group Development Co., Ltd., and is located in Xi’an Town, Dawei County, Panjin City. It can be reached by taking the Jing-Shen Expressway and transferring to the Pan-Hai-Ying Expressway, exiting at Xi’an. It is approximately 43 kilometers from downtown Panjin.

Panjin Zhenxing Eco-Tourism Scenic Area is a comprehensive enterprise integrating ecological breeding, ecological farming, and eco-tourism. It includes a breeding pig farm, an organic pig farm, an organic rice planting area, a high-efficiency agriculture demonstration zone, and the under-construction Amazon Eco-Sightseeing Park. Its uniquely developed “Four-Level Purification, Five-Step Utilization” breeding model has made significant contributions to environmental protection and ecological construction. In 1992, it was awarded the title of “Global 500” by the United Nations Environment Programme, making it the world’s first breeding farm to receive this honor.

Panjin Zhenxing Eco-Tourism Scenic Area is shaded by lush green trees and fragrant with fruits. Rows of arched grape trellises cover the pathways like vine corridors. In the ponds, fish swim joyfully, while water hyacinths and duckweed thrive vibrantly. Clusters of flowers and greenery surround neat rows of clean pigsties. The phrase “Butterflies dance in the green shade without a single fly in sight, pigs grow fat, fish are delicious, and crabs and clams are fresh” aptly describes the scenic area. Visitors are invariably amazed and reluctant to leave. Major attractions include the breeding farm area, featuring water hyacinth pools, duckweed pools, grape walkways, Pig Paradise, and the Music Corridor; as well as the under-construction Amazon Sightseeing Park, which will include sights such as the Amazon River, fish ponds, crab ponds, fishing areas, and suspension bridges.
