Octagonal Ancient Well The Octagonal Ancient Well is located in Liuhe Village within the scenic area and is a stone-built natural spring-fed hot spring well. Legend has it that Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty once passed through this place and bathed in the hot spring, after which this well was built and revered as the "Eight-Treasure Glazed Well." The octagonal stone well is surrounded by eight-sided bluestone slabs. The well opening has a diameter of 1.95 meters and is over 5 meters deep. The upper half of the well opening is constructed from eight layers of octagonal stone slabs, the middle section is built with four-sided stone slabs, and the lower part is made of six layers of rectangular bluestone bricks. The hot spring water naturally flows continuously from the well opening, with a temperature reaching up to 72°C.
