The Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area will reopen at 6 a.m. on the 8th, but due to damage from Typhoons Soudelor and Dujuan in recent days, only some facilities are open. Currently, certain nature trails and the forest train (Bing Bong Train) remain temporarily suspended. There are a total of 9 trails in the park. According to the official website, the current opening status is as follows:
1. Jiu-Zhi-Ze Nature Trail: Fully closed
2. Jian-Qing Nostalgia Trail: Partially open
3. Hinoki Primitive Forest Trail: Open as usual
4. Tsuga Nature Trail: Open as usual
5. Mao-Xing Nostalgia Trail: Fully closed
6. San-Die Waterfall Trail: Fully closed
7. Taiwan Beech Trail: Open as usual
8. Cui-Feng Lake Loop Trail: Partially open
9. Wang-Yang Mountain Trail: Open as usual
Additionally, the Jiu-Zhi-Ze Hot Spring area:
1. Egg-boiling area, SPA hot spring, and nude bath area: Open as usual.
2. Trails and hot spring cottages: Under renovation.
3. Forest train (Bing Bong Train): Under repair.
