Resembling a book in appearance, the So Bangkok hotel follows an understated luxury concept, yet its brilliance is impossible to hide.Designed by Lady Gaga’s stylist, its room types are inspired by the five elements — gold, wood, water, fire, and earth, both inside and out, it’s ultra-fashionable, and has hosted popular Korean starsLee Min-ho, Super Junior, and EXOwho have all stayed here. Once guests check in, they find it hard to leave.

Located in central Bangkok, the So Bangkok hotel opened in February 2012 and has been in operation for over three years. Thanks to Korean stars like Lee Min-ho, Super Junior, and EXO, it has attracted a wave of K-pop fans eager to stay, achieving an occupancy rate as high as 90%! So Bangkok enjoys a prime location with excellent transport links. One side offers city views, while the other showcases natural forest park scenery. Guests can choose their preferred scenic rooms based on personal taste.

Upon entering the hotel, you’ll also notice the staff uniforms are highly stylish, featuring colorful fabrics that blend Thai characteristics with Western fashion. The designers hope that every service interaction feels like a runway show.

The most distinctive feature of the hotel is itsroom types, which are designedbased on the concept of the five elements — gold, wood, water, fire, and earth.Aside from fire, which represents the restaurant, each element has different room types. Each floor is also uniquely designed according to its corresponding element. As soon as you step into the lobby, you’ll hear fashionable music and be enveloped by ambient scents.

The four elements — gold, wood, water, and earth — include eight room types, each designed by a different designer. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, and each type offers a distinct atmosphere..Room prices may vary slightly depending on booking rates on the day, with each room type also offering different window views.
Thewater-themedroom type is the most popular among guests, emphasizing optimal views from every corner.

The hotel is equipped with many facilities for guests to use. If you opt for the breakfast package, you can enjoy meals at the restaurant designed with the fire element in mind. In addition, the gym and the rooftop pool, which offers a panoramic view of central Bangkok, are highly praised. Guests can also enjoy sunbathing here.
