Last updated 2026-09-25 — This Miss V dessert shop in Taipei is famously well-known—like, seriously famous—because it’s the favorite spot of our fellow traveler Brother Hu. You’d often see him checking in here, and I’ve been craving it for ages. Finally… Brother Hu took me there!! And we went to Miss V’s new branch. Because it just relocated, not many people know about it yet. The new location isn’t far from the original one. The new shop’s decor is so fresh and cozy—it’s totally my style ^^

This Miss V dessert shop in Taipei is famously well-known—like, seriously famous—because it’s the favorite spot of our fellow traveler Brother Hu.

The first time I met Miss V’s soul—the owner, Little V—I was surprised by how young and pretty she is. She’s got great baking skills and business smarts, which is really admirable. What’s most impressive is that Miss V’s desserts aren’t just beautiful—they taste absolutely amazing. My favorite is Miss V’s brunch, served with homemade granola, yogurt, salad, etc… It’s super filling, healthy, and delicious. If it weren’t in Taipei—so far from me—I’d definitely visit often. After all, they serve what I think are the most delicious cinnamon rolls and all kinds of cakes and sweets here…

Located in a quiet alley on Chifeng Street, Miss V Bakery Cafe has a very low-key exterior. If it weren’t for Brother Hu leading the way… I probably would’ve walked right past it.

The cinnamon roll is practically their signature—you have to try it when you come. The other items are also very popular, and Miss V frequently develops new products, so there’s always something new and exciting each time you visit.

Who’s trying to scare us off with this weekday crowd!? We almost didn’t get a seat. So you see, good shops are never lonely!! No matter where they move, loyal customers will always follow.

There’s a white bookshelf displaying dessert and cake-related books, which must be a personal collection.

The staff in the shop are all young, giving off a lively and energetic vibe.

The blackboard lists hidden daily specials not on the regular menu, depending on the fruits and ingredients available that day. Limited to the day only!! If you see something you like, be sure to order it early—it’ll sell out!!

In the transparent display case, there are freshly baked desserts and cakes—you can just point and pick whatever you want.

The cake aroma is just too enticing… When you come here, it’s easy to go crazy and want to try a bit of everything—it’s seriously irresistible XD

Miss V now also offers light meals, so you can come here not just for desserts, but also for lunch or dinner.

They also have all kinds of coffee and specialty drinks.

Hot Latte 130 NTD
Caramel Coffee Frappé 145 NTD
Iced Earl Grey Milk Tea 140 NTD
Lime & Yuzu Sparkling Drink 150 NTD
The drinks at Miss V Bakery Cafe are rich and flavorful, and they look great too.

Devil’s Chocolate Cake 130 NTD
It’s a classic American-style layer cake. With its devilishly wicked appearance, it uses 73% bittersweet chocolate, offering a rich flavor without being overly sweet—especially since the cake itself has a very moist texture. What’s special is the thin layer of caramel drizzled in the middle of the cake. Due to the 73% cocoa purity, it’s still slightly bitter, but the thin caramel balances the bitterness of the chocolate and adds layers of flavor.

Chocolate lovers should definitely give it a try. Even those who worry it might be too sweet can try it, because the high cocoa content gives it a bittersweet taste, which is just right for someone like me who doesn’t like overly sweet desserts.

Caramel Sea Salt New York Cheesecake 140 NTD
Made with a New York-style cheesecake, this one is known for its rich and dense texture. The base is made from homemade digestive biscuits using whole wheat flour. It’s then topped with a handmade sea salt caramel sauce—sweet but not cloying. Since the caramel is cooked with sea salt, it has a sweet-and-salty balance with lots of layers. Finally, fleur de sel is sprinkled on top to enhance the flavor even more.

Banana Chocolate Pudding Tart 150 NTD
Banana and chocolate are already a great duo in the dessert world—a seriously powerful combo—and here it’s paired with a crispy tart shell and a silky, not-too-rich chocolate pudding filling. This isn’t a real pudding, but rather a chocolate filling with a texture similar to pudding. The chocolate used is 73% bittersweet, offering a rich, slightly bitter, and not-too-sweet flavor with a slightly chewy texture—smooth and sweet. It’s finished with fresh banana slices and piped fresh whipped cream for the perfect banana chocolate pudding tart.

By this point, I was already fully satisfied in body, mind, and soul.

Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll 80 NTD
Miss V’s cinnamon roll is just different from the ones you get elsewhere, because it’s made with a large amount of egg yolk, giving it a texture similar to cake. Most people who are afraid of cinnamon are put off by its pungent, unique aroma—but Miss V’s sweet cinnamon flavor isn’t sharp at all, because it’s carefully blended from two different types of cinnamon.

This makes it easier for those who fear cinnamon to reduce their aversion to cinnamon powder, and it is finally paired with a cream cheese spread, resulting in a flavor that is traditionally American. The cinnamon rolls, which carry a cheesy aroma, are quite unique with their layered scents.

Spicy Cheese Sandwich - NT$180
So cool!! This is Miss V’s homemade Chipotle tomato hot sauce. It was my first time trying tomato hot sauce, and I found its mildly spicy, sweet, and tangy aroma to be just right. Paired with homemade whole wheat country bread, the inside combines Parmesan, Mazza, and Cheddar cheeses, while the unique aroma of cilantro adds more layers of flavor. The side dish includes homemade honey oat yogurt and golden feta cheese salad.

Miss V enjoys making her own food, emphasizing a healthy approach that is refreshing, delicious, and low in frying. She also hopes that guests can taste the original flavors of the ingredients, and she feels more at ease making them herself.

The combination of Parmesan, Mazza, and Cheddar cheeses along with the homemade tomato hot sauce is not only visually tempting with its stringy effect, but the aroma and taste are also beyond words. What lingers most in my memory is truly the tomato hot sauce—its sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy flavor is really delicious~ Paired with cheese, it becomes even more heavenly.

Bacon, Sunny-side Egg, Cinnamon Roll, and French Toast - NT$180
The signature cinnamon roll can actually be so versatile. This time, Miss V soaked the cinnamon roll in orange wine and egg mixture, then pan-fried it until golden on the outside. The exterior has a texture similar to bread pudding, while the inside retains the chewiness of the cinnamon roll. It is paired with a perfectly cooked sunny-side egg and well-fried bacon, and finally drizzled with caramel sauce. The flavor is well-balanced between sweet and savory—sweet with a hint of bacon saltiness... a bit of a conflicting taste, very creative, but it depends on everyone's acceptance.

There’s also a ring of caramel sauce on the plate. Those who want to challenge the fusion of sweet and salty can consider dipping more bacon into the caramel sauce, but I prefer to eat them separately!! Hahaha... I personally don’t like conflicting textures XD!!

Seeing such a beautifully fried sunny-side egg always makes me want to pierce the yolk. I love watching the golden egg liquid slowly flow down like a waterfall!! It’s just pure indulgence.

Curry Tuna Focaccia Sandwich - NT$220
The occasionally available Curry Tuna Focaccia Sandwich uses a chewy, homemade focaccia, paired with curry tuna salad, crunchy apples, and various vegetables. The side dish includes homemade honey oat yogurt and golden feta cheese salad. The focaccia has a nice bite to it, which I really enjoy. The curry tuna salad, combined with the sweet and crunchy apples and vegetables, offers a very refreshing taste—very healthy and delicious.

Miss V Bakery Cafe’s American-style sweet and savory treats have a very homely American flavor. They’re homey and emphasize delicious, refreshing, and healthy options with minimal frying. Almost everything—from bread and desserts to sauces and seasonings—is mostly homemade. To ensure ingredient quality for customers, Miss V even makes her own sauces, which is very reassuring. However, this also means many unique flavors can only be found at Miss V and are not available elsewhere. Such a thoughtful, warm, and fresh Miss V Bakery Cafe not only serves delicious and captivating desserts but also gives a cozy and reassuring feeling.
