Who will be the next brand ambassador for EVA Air following Asian heartthrob Takeshi Kaneshiro? According to a report in the China Times on the 19th, EVA Air is planning to hire Hollywood actor George Clooney as its spokesperson. In response,EVA Air clarified that George Clooney is not under consideration.

EVA Air stated that the current rumor about inviting George Clooney to be the spokesperson is untrue, and he is not on their consideration list. It has also not been confirmed whether the new brand ambassador will be a Hollywood star. Furthermore, details such as the advertisement script, presentation style, and planned release date are still under planning.

In 2013, Takeshi Kaneshiro shot EVA Air’s annual international image advertisement “I SEE YOU,” which successfully generated buzz and even boosted tourism in Chenggong, Taitung. The advertisement contract ended at the end of November 2014. With Kaneshiro stepping down as the spokesperson, who will take over as EVA Air’s next brand ambassador has become highly anticipated.
