The internet-famous illustration characters Malayan tapir and Shuangshuang Cat, who have taken Taiwan by storm, are leaping out of the virtual world this winter to embark on a maritime adventure aboard the SuperStar Aquarius.Renowned online illustrators Cherng (Malayan tapir) and SECOND (Shuangshuang Cat) are collaborating with cruise tourism for the first time, launching an all-new series of themed cabins. With five uniquely styled and color-themed rooms, each comes with exclusive Malayan tapir & Shuangshuang Cat amenities that you can take home as keepsakes.

This is the first collaboration between renowned online illustrators Cherng (Malayan tapir) and SECOND (Shuangshuang Cat) and the cruise tourism industry, and also marks the second unique themed cabin series introduced by Star Cruises’ SuperStar Aquarius after the Creamy Lion themed rooms—creating major online buzz and high interest.As soon as you open the door to the themed room, Malayan tapirs & Shuangshuang Cats are hidden throughout—in the walls, paintings, glass windows, or closets.Not only can you see them everywhere in the room, but you can even touch them—it’s such a delightful surprise. The Malayan tapir, often seen squinting one eye, with its black-and-white palette and simple lines, is immensely popular and irresistibly charming, quickly becoming a favorite in the advertising world. Though not conventionally handsome, it’s socially aware, has its own opinions, and even once transformed into a Rainbow Tapir to show support for diverse families. Out of jealousy, it once competed with panda cub Yuan Zai to be the most beloved black-and-white animal. Whenever it speaks, its sharp yet humorous tone always brings a smile to fans’ faces.
