Travel Expo ITF / Japan Airlines Tokyo round-trip for 6,999, plus free baggage allowance of 46kg

During the 2015 Taipei International Travel Fair, Japan Airlines displayed its 2-2 economy class seating configuration for the first time, which has been recognized as the “World’s Best Economy Class” by SKYTRAX, allowing the public to experience firsthand what it’s like to fly on a Japan Airlines 787 aircraft. In addition, Japan Airlines launched exclusive travel fair promotions, including round-trip flights from Taipei to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya starting as low as NT$6,999, with a baggage allowance of 2 pieces weighing 23kg each per person—making shopping trips to Japan more comfortable and economical.

This marks the first time Japan Airlines has exhibited jointly with JR East Japan. Its long-haul economy class has already been awarded the SKYTRAX World’s Best Economy Class title. To emphasize the concept of the “new ‘spacing’ economy class,” a special seat experience zone was set up at the exhibition. The extended and widened seat pitch offers passengers even more generous legroom.

Japan Airlines’ travel fair promotions include round-trip flights from Taipei to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya starting from NT$6,999, and long-haul flights to cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Boston starting from NT$21,000. When combined with hotel stays, Tokyo and Osaka 3-day self-guided tours start from NT$9,888, while in-depth self-guided tours to Aomori start from NT$19,600. Japan Airlines also noted that, aside from offering promotional packages, its booth featured quiz games with prizes based on themes such as Japan Airlines, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Skytree, and Aomori, where visitors could win gifts by participating.
