Another dreamy sea of flowers in Changhua has emerged—a pink "Bougainvillea Maze" open for free visits

Bougainvillea is a common flower species in Taiwan, known for its vigorous vitality, often seen in the gardens of many homes. But when hundreds of bougainvillea plants bloom together in a riot of color, it becomes an entirely different kind of beauty. At Hui Feng Horticulture in Tianwei, Changhua, beautiful bougainvilleas are in full bloom, and aerial photos make it look as if you’ve stepped into a purple maze.

Changhua Tianwei Highway Garden has become an extremely popular check-in spot in recent years, with the nearby viral cactus garden also drawing visitors. Every autumn, aside from admiring chrysanthemums and metasequoias, you can also visit Hui Feng Horticulture to enjoy the stunning bougainvillea sea. Specializing in the sale of bougainvillea potted plants, the garden has no café or scenic seating—just a profusion of flowers available for everyone to photograph for free.

Unlike the wild and dense growth of bougainvillea seen by the roadside, this place, being a dedicated garden center for potted plants, has every branch and leaf neatly trimmed. The clusters of blossoms are super cute, with pink-peach, purple, and white petals intermingling to create an even more romantic atmosphere. The blooming period is expected to last until December.
