Renovation Complete After Three Years: Paris Art Gem "Rodin Museum" Reopens

Known as a Parisian art treasure,the Rodin Museum,has reopened to the public this week after a three-year renovation. Don’t miss it if you love European art, especially sculpture works.

According to a report on thelocal.fr,after three years of renovation, the public finally has the chance to visit this sanctuary of modern art again. The Rodin Museum houses works by the artist, most famously “The Thinker.” As one of France’s renowned museums, it attracts 700,000 visitors annually, and the French Prime Minister attended the reopening event.

The renovation was necessary due to the aging condition of the museum’s location, the Hotel Biron, which has been home to the collection since 1919, two years after Rodin’s death in 1917. The museum stated that this reopening will focus on Rodin’s creative works, and the public will also have the opportunity to see pieces that have never been exhibited before. The museum is scheduled to open to the public this Thursday (the 12th).
