Penghu’s First 5-Star Hotel: Four Points by Sheraton Trial Operation Begins

The first international five-star hotel in Penghu—Four Points by Sheraton Penghu—began its trial operation on the 1st,The hotel is located near Magong’s Third Fishery Harbor, about a 15-minute drive from Magong Airport and a 5-minute drive from Magong Port. Thanks to its proximity to the harbor, it offers an exceptional vantage point to enjoy the sea and sky of Magong. The Nanhai Visitor Center is also nearby, making it highly convenient for travelers taking shuttle boats to the islands of southern Penghu.

Four Points by Sheraton Penghu has a total of331 harbor-view island-style guest rooms and suites,all designed according to the specifications required by parent brand Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Facilities include a 25-meter infinity pool, Royal Lulu SPA, fitness center, activity zone, reading lounge, and kids’ play area. Among them,the kids’ play area features a pirate-themed ball pit and fun equipment,along with story time, DIY toy crafting, and Xbox One gaming, making it a paradise for children.

To celebrate the trial operation, Four Points by Sheraton is offering limited-time discounts from now until February 29, 2016. Originally priced at NT$15,000 (including tax and service charges), the deluxe room (including two breakfasts) is available at a promotional price of NT$5,200. For residents of Penghu County, from now until March 31, 2016, presenting a valid ID card allows check-in for the same room type at NT$3,800 per night (limited availability daily). This rate includes tax, service charges, and two breakfasts.
