November each year is the season when silvergrass blooms, with masses of flowers creating a vast white landscape that adds color to the mountain scenery. The renowned Grass Mountain Ancient Trail also appears brushed white, signaling to everyone that autumn has truly arrived.

This year’s2015 Grass Mountain Ancient Trail Silvergrass Seasonfeatures the theme “Silvergrass Dances in Autumn,” aiming to connect the “ancient trail, golden winds, and silver waves” to showcase the beautiful autumn hues of the Grass Mountain Ancient Trail. Unlike previous years, this year limited-edition lottery tickets (10,000 available on weekends only) will be offered instead of souvenirs. However, visitors can still receive free peace porridge, and enjoy activities such as silvergrass displays, ancient trail explanations, and a small farmers' market. Everyone is welcome to experience the beauty of silvergrass.

Shuttle buses will also be available on weekends so visitors can easily reach the mountains and witness the white beauty created by the silvergrass.

2015 Grass Mountain Ancient Trail Silvergrass Season
Event Period: November 7 (Sat), 2015 – November 29 (Sun), 2015
Event Location: Along the Grass Mountain Ancient Trail, from Fulong Visitor Center to Dali Visitor Center and surrounding attractions
Weekend shuttle bus information is as follows:

Fulong – Yuwangkeng Entrance (at Provincial Highway 2B intersection)
Service Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Departure Frequency: Every 15 minutes during peak hours, 4 buses per hour, departing from a fixed point in front of Fulong Visitor Center.
Fare: NT$15 full fare, NT$8 half fare (cash only, please bring exact change); EasyCard accepted. Buses depart once full.

Dali Visitor Center – Fulong Visitor Center
Service Hours: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Departure Frequency: Every 30 minutes, departing from a fixed point in the Dali Visitor Center parking lot.
Fare: NT$49 full fare, NT$24 half fare (cash only, please bring exact change); EasyCard accepted. Buses depart once full.

“Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Golden Fulong Line”
Buses departing from Fulong Visitor Center (every 30 minutes) will make a loop via Yuwangkeng Entrance (at Provincial Highway 2B intersection).
