World's Only 360-Degree 3D Holographic Christmas Tree · New Taipei City Christmasland Lights Up Today

The TEC team was the first in the world to create a projection mapping performance on the Sydney Opera House. The biggest challenge for this projection lies in the conical column shape and the reflective, translucent properties of the titanium-zinc metal material. In addition to constructing the animation using seamless 360-degree blending technology, precise infrared measurements and modeling were also required beforehand to accurately calculate the holes, ensuring the animation could be seamlessly integrated with the architecture.

The story of this year’s light show, “Santa Bear, Cubby Bear Family and the Shining Star,” is heartwarming and adorable. Santa Bear and the Cubby Bear family embark on a magical journey to find the perfect spot for the shining star, eventually arriving at New Taipei City Christmasland where they place the star atop the Christmas tree, illuminating the entire city with dazzling radiance.

The main light show will run for 45 days, starting from today until January 3rd of next year (2016), and will be performed every hour and half-hour from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM each evening. Interested travelers can check it out.
