Winter has just arrived, but flowers at Chengmei Riverside Park are beginning to bloom in full splendor. The Taipei City Water Resource Bureau has decorated Xikou Wharf with over 15,000 seasonal blooms, including crabapple, carnations, lantana, and angel’s trumpets, creating an eye-catching sea of flowers. The flower viewing period lasts until late December, so don’t miss your chance to admire the riverside floral scenery!

After strolling along the riverside to admire the flowers, nearby is Rainbow Riverside Park with a love theme. Strolling here at night offers a uniquely romantic vibe. Sit on the couple’s stone chairs in the shape of “FOREVER” to take in the illuminated night scenes across both sides of the river, a truly stunning view. You can also hang love locks on the installation art “LOVE” and “IYU,” making wishes and expressing your hopes for love.

In addition to taking the Songshan MRT line, you can also reach Xikou Wharf by bike. On weekends, rent a bicycle at the Rainbow rental station, and it takes about five minutes to cycle upstream along the Keelung River. Nearby attractions include Raohe Night Market and Wufenpu, which you can include in your itinerary. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon stroll along the riverside on the weekend—whether by bike, on foot, jogging, or walking your dog—you’ll be able to savor the beautiful riverside park to the fullest.

Chengmei Riverside Park — Xikou Wharf
(1) MRT: Exit from Exit 1 of Songshan MRT Station, turn around and go straight ahead, then turn right into Lane 709, Section 4, Bade Road. Go straight for about 70 meters, make a slight right turn and continue straight into Lane 221, Raohe Street, and enter through Evacuation Gate No. 4.
(2) Bus: Take bus numbers 28, 53, 63, 203, 204, 205, 256, 276, 306, 311, 518, 531, 605, 622, 629, 668, 678, 711, Brown 1, or Blue 7 to Songshan Station. After getting off, walk toward Raohe Night Market (Lane 221, Raohe Street) and enter through Evacuation Gate No. 4.
(3) Bicycle: On weekdays, you can rent a bicycle at the Dajia or Meiti rental stations, then cycle upstream along Songhe Street (Keelung River upstream) for about 10–15 minutes. On weekends, you can rent a bicycle at the Rainbow rental station and cycle about five minutes upstream along the Keelung River to arrive.
(4) Driving & Parking: (Inside the embankment) Bade 3D Parking Lot, No. 568, Section 4, Bade Road (422 spots for cars), about a 10-minute walk to Xikou Wharf.
