The Lalu “Nanjing Regent Hotel” begins trial operation, just 100 meters from the Yangtze River

During the initial opening phase, only 150 rooms will be used, with the remaining gradually coming online next year. The hotel aims to achieve an occupancy rate of 60% in its first year of operation and 80% in the second year.

Leveraging its successful experiences in Sun Moon Lake and Qingdao, the township Lin Group’s new property “The Lalu Nanjing” is set to begin its trial operation on December 1, ushering in a new era of cultural innovation in Nanjing.

Prior to the trial opening, Lai Cheng-yi, Chairman of The Lalu Hotel Group, invited renowned actress Fan Bingbing and over 2,000 Nanjing residents to participate in the “The Lalu Sets Sail, Rings the Bell of Happiness” ceremony. The event featured a large-scale replica of a Ming Dynasty treasure ship akin to those used by Zheng He, with a grand spectacle including a thousand people pulling the ship and a caravan of camels transporting premium timber.

This comprehensive development project in Nanjing includes not only the hotel but also serviced residences “The Lalu Residences,” commercial offices “The Lalu Financial Center,” and a shopping mall. Currently, the serviced residences are in the final countdown to handover. Industry sources state that the price per ping for The Lalu Residences has surpassed NT$1.02 million, while the price per ping for The Lalu Financial Center is NT$540,000.
