The Four Points by Sheraton Penghu is the first 5-star hotel in Penghu, located near Magong’s Third Fishery Harbor and just about a 15-minute drive (or roughly 5 minutes) from Magong Airport, making it extremely convenient. The hotel boasts an exceptional seascape location, with the South Penghu Visitor Center right in front, offering easy access for travelers wishing to take a boat.
The hotel has a total of 6 room types, comprising 331 rooms, and its exterior is highly eye-catching. Local taxi drivers mentioned: “The area surrounding the Four Points by Sheraton Penghu will see other hotel developments in the future, including projects by groups like Yuan Tai.” The front of the hotel faces a wide road, and beyond that road lies the fishery harbor, so there’s no worry that new hotels will block the current harbor view.

This stay was in a Deluxe Harbor View Double Room, which comes fully equipped with amenities. The bathroom includes a bathtub, with both shower and bath available in the same space. Next to the bathtub is a misting device, and the toilet is sensor-operated with auto-flush functionality. The overall color scheme features a soft wood texture, with blue-green hues echoing the maritime theme. Open the floor-to-ceiling windows to reveal a stunning harbor view, and the balcony door can be opened to allow you to sit on the terrace and enjoy the scenery.

The over 2-ping oversized independent observation balcony offers sweeping views of the harbor, creating a perfect vacation vibe. It's ideal for popping open a bottle of red wine, sitting back, and doing absolutely nothing — just unwinding. If you’re not into the wind, you can also stay inside, sit on the small sofa, or lie in bed while still enjoying the beautiful harbor city view.
It’s also worth mentioning that the king-size double bed is so spacious that a woman could easily roll over three or four times. The mattress has a medium-firm feel. Although I went to bed quite late this night and only slept for five hours, I felt well-rested and slept through until morning. When I woke up, I couldn’t believe how fast the time had passed — not enough time to enjoy it all!

From the room, you can look down onto the open space outside the main entrance, where you’ll find newly planted flowers, an outdoor café, and an infinity pool — all part of the public facilities that guests can enjoy without limit.

The Penghu Archipelago is situated in the Taiwan Strait and has been recommended by Lonely Planet as one of the world’s top 10 most idyllic islands. Staying here, you may be lucky enough to witness fishing boats entering the harbor in the early morning, as fishermen dock their boats, unload their catch, and deliver it to the fish market — offering a rare glimpse into the lives of local fishermen.

The above showcases the Deluxe Double Room. Now let’s take a look at the other room types. In addition to the double room, the harbor view rooms also include twin rooms, which come in variations with either two single beds or one large double bed — ideal for friends traveling together who prefer separate beds. The two single beds offer a slightly larger visual space, and, as with other rooms, opening the window reveals the harbor view.

Among the 331 rooms, 23 are suites, with the particularly luxurious one being the Harbor View Suite. The suite features an even larger floor-to-ceiling window that directly faces the harbor, and its balcony is furnished with lounge chairs for relaxation. Some suites can even be interconnected, making them perfect for family stays.

In addition to the bedroom and large living area, the suite also includes a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, offering guests a homely and comfortable experience. For those who may need to work or entertain in a more homey atmosphere, a designated kitchenette area with a dining table has been planned, adding a warm touch to business discussions.

Of course, being a suite, the specifications are even more generous. In this suite, the toilet and other bathroom facilities are separately designed, featuring a standalone circular bathtub. With ample sunlight, you can soak and fully unwind in true vacation style.

As a luxurious suite, not only can you enjoy the beautiful harbor view from the lounge chair, but the hotel has also created an exclusive harbor-view hot spring soaking area by the floor-to-ceiling windows. The soaking area is divided, with the shower area on the right and the hot tub on the left — the epitome of endless luxury.
