Taiwan’s first-ever “The Incredible Legend of Golden Sand – A Magical Journey Through the Sand World” sand sculpture exhibition has made its grand debut at Kaohsiung’s Pier-2 Art Center !Created by 15 internationally renowned sand sculptors from nine countries, the event features over 40 large-scale sand sculptures, andTaiwan’s first 3D interactive sand sculptures allow visitors not only to admire and play with the sand but also to interact with the sculptures and take photos, making it a perfect destination for family outings !

JOOheng, the Singapore director of “The Incredible Legend of Golden Sand – A Magical Journey Through the Sand World” sand sculpture exhibition, pioneered the 3D interactive sand sculptures, bringing to life sculptures such as little angels holding bows and arrows and roaring dinosaurs ,allowing visitors to pose freely on this sandy canvas and take photos with the sculptures . The theme changes every ten days ,making it a truly novel experience !

The venue also features a massive 80-ping play sand pool , offering rental services for sand toys . For just NT$50, you can rent toys for two hours , using buckets and shovels to play in the sand happily , without worrying about rain, sun exposure, or unhygienic conditions . The sand is regularly disinfected every hour , and if you’re done playing, you can quickly and cleanly clear the sand using a pneumatic gun .

Additionally ,with just a ticket to the sand sculpture exhibition, children can also participate for free in the “Q-Bee Super Light Clay Class” ,which uses this year’s newly released super light clay as teaching material to guide children from kindergarten senior class to elementary school sixth grade in creating cute animals and dolls . There are three sessions per day on weekends , each lasting 40 minutes , and registration is required two hours before the session .
