Last updated 2026-09-25 — With the support of professional food supplier Meifu International, it's truly impressive. The Taipei Meifu Hotel, targeting the dining market, houses five restaurants inside, all beginning trial operations on January 9th. Among them, the semi-buffet restaurant Palette 彩汇 uses top-tier ingredients, such as U.S. PRIME-grade grilled steak in the grill section, sea urchin sushi and snow crab (available only for dinner) in the Japanese cuisine area, as well as Iberico pork sukiyaki. Even more surprising is that during lunch and dinner, a variety of differently flavored main courses are available for unlimited refills.

The main courses at Palette 彩汇 may vary depending on the day’s ingredients. On the day of the interview, the menu offered at Meifu Hotel included a vegetable medley, butter-poached deep-sea cod with tarragon lobster sauce, gently heated lobster and pumpkin purée with celery foam, French-style duck liver and chicken pie with blackcurrant sauce, bone-in pork shank slow-cooked in Port wine, and scallops with fennel sauce topped with black truffle slices. If you’re not afraid of overeating, just refilling the plates is already great value. Four main courses (three meat-based and one vegetarian) are offered for lunch, and six main courses (five meat-based and one vegetarian) are offered for dinner.

The open buffet area at 彩汇 is divided into seven sections, featuring over 100 different food items. The Japanese cuisine section is arguably the most cost-effective part of 彩汇. In addition to various sashimi and nigiri sushi, there are also many Japanese side dishes, as well as sukiyaki with beef and Iberico pork. The highlight has to be the sea urchin nigiri, flounder fin sashimi, and seafood such as snow crab and abalone (available for dinner), along with lobster — and there are no limits on quantity. You can eat as much as you want, making it easy to get your money’s worth just in the Japanese section.(Note: Higher-priced premium ingredients are available in the evening, but due to the current trial operation period, Meifu Hotel may adjust offerings based on the situation)

The Thai cuisine section is most notable for its live grilling station, where guests can customize their preferred level of spiciness and sourness with various grilled meats. The live noodle bar serves not only classic Taiwanese danzai noodles but also a variety of seasonal fresh blanched vegetables. The hot food section features a range of pastas and dishes, including grilled U.S. PRIME-grade beef and Italian-style grilled dishes. There’s also a wood-fired pizza station, salad and cold cuts section, and a dessert and bread bar. The dessert section is filled with vibrant macarons, vanilla crème brûlée, chocolate towers, and a variety of seasonal fruit-themed desserts, rivaling the appeal of other sections.

At the same time, another highlight of the restaurant is 100% freshly squeezed fruit juice, where guests can freely mix fruits from the selection counter, with drinks made to order by the chef. You can see the fresh, real seasonal fruits used — delicious and worry-free.
