Full Buffet at "Chiu Fong" Taipei Branch Now Open – Over 100 Dishes for Under 500 NTD

Kaohsiung-based Dah Ba Catering Group launched “Chiu Fong Hong Kong-Style Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat Buffet” in 2010 in Kaohsiung and has now officially expanded to Taipei. Its Breeze Nanjing Store officially opened on January 9th. The biggest highlight of Chiu Fong Hong Kong-Style Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat Buffet is its Hong Kong-style dim sum buffet format combined with freshly made stir-fried dishes, offering over a hundred delicious choices. Especially with weekday lunch at just 479 NTD, and weekday dinners as well as weekend lunches and dinners at only 549 NTD, the prices are considered extremely affordable in the Greater Taipei area.

Since last year, Chiu Fong Hong Kong-Style Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat Buffet has rapidly expanded, opening stores in Tainan Yongfu, Kaohsiung Dream Mall B1, and others. Each location quickly became a popular dining spot. Riding this wave of popularity, the Dah Ba Group is expanding its culinary presence to northern Taiwan. Its first northern branch, “Chiu Fong,” is located in the newly opened Breeze Nanjing and officially debuted on January 9th. Another branch in Neihu’s in base will open within February. Prices are set only 50 NTD higher than those in the south.

In addition to a wide selection of freshly fried and pan-fried dim sum on display for self-service all-you-can-eat, the buffet also retains the nostalgic service style of traditional teahouses with steamed dim sum carts, where servers bring various steamed dim sum items directly to your table. But strictly speaking, aside from popular Hong Kong-style dim sum, “Chiu Fong” also offers dishes you’d find at Hong Kong-style cafés, traditional tea houses, roast meat shops, and more. Signature dishes include Hong Kong-style crispy roast duck, honey-glazed BBQ pork, scallion oil chicken, as well as spicy chili crab in Singaporean style and a seafood vermicelli pot with Southeast Asian satay flavors.

From salad bar, steamed dim sum cart, roast meats, Hong Kong-style soy-marinated beef cart, cold appetizers, freshly made cheung fun, hot stir-fried dishes, blanched vegetables, deep-fried dim sum, clay pot dishes, soups, to Chinese desserts and a traditional tofu pudding cart—the Chiu Fong Breeze Nanjing branch features thirteen food zones with over a hundred dishes. Preserving the classic Hong Kong-style dim sum atmosphere, the dim sum trolley offers 14 varieties of steamed dim sum, plus 3 rotating limited-edition items, with the milk custard bun and crab roe har gow being top recommendations.

Since its opening, Chiu Fong has consistently tracked customer preferences and regularly updated its menu, removing unpopular dishes. Among them, two fan favorites have never been removed since launch: the simple-looking but popular blanched white shrimp, and the uniquely flavored turtle-deer double-immortal jelly chicken soup.

In southern Taiwan, weekday lunch at Chiu Fong is 429 NTD, and weekday dinner or weekend lunch/dinner is 469 NTD. In Taipei, lunch is priced just 50 NTD higher than the south, staying in the 400s at 479 NTD for weekdays, while weekday dinners and weekend lunches/dinners are only 549 NTD—setting a new budget-friendly benchmark for all-you-can-eat meals in Taipei.
