Mitsui Linkou OUTLET Design Concept · Opens January 27 with an “On-the-Water Restaurant”

With 220 brands in total, including 16 restaurants and food outlets that will open their first stores in Taiwan, this is a first for the brand in the country. Mitsui OUTLET has released the interior design plans of the shopping center, which will feature semi-open spaces and an on-the-water restaurant. Located just a 5-minute walk from the Linkou Metro Station set to open in June, it offers extremely convenient transportation.

“MITSUI OUTLET PARK Linkou” marks the group’s first venture in Taiwan. The complex combines international, Japanese, and Taiwanese brands, featuring 52 stores making their first appearance in a Taiwanese OUTLET, along with 56 shops spanning fashion, dining, and food sales, including 17 Japanese brands opening their first stores in Taiwan.

Mitsui OUTLET has released the interior design plans of the shopping center, including 2nd-floor on-the-water restaurant renderings, open-plan mall interior perspectives, planned aerial perspective views, west entrance (western side) renderings, as well as large plaza south entrance renderings on the 1st floor of the open-plan mall, and 1st-floor renderings of the enclosed mall. The semi-open design is particularly eye-catching.

Regarding the tenant mix, the food court on the 2nd floor of IN MALL is expected to host 14 dining establishments with 600 seats. This includes first-time Taiwanese openings such as Tsukemen Tama, Hakata Nagahama Ramen Hanamaru, Tanaka Shoten, Grill Nabe Yakiniku, Nabeya Shokudo Yamaya, Bibimbap & Korean BBQ Bibimbap, Dolthie Juicy Story, Orange County, and Miyamoto Udon. Other tenants include the second Kinoko Hannosuke branch and Seafood N.< 森田屋等多家日系美食。

As for restaurants, in addition to popular Taiwanese eateries such as Dian Shui Lou, Shin Yeh Gathering, Sichuan Wu Chao Shou, Du Lao Ye & Cafe, first-time entries to Taiwan include Japanese brands J.S. FOODIES, KUA AINA, nana's green tea, Tsuruhashi Fūgetsu, and Korean cuisine spot Bibim’.

Additionally, the B1 Sweetheart Paradise dessert area will house 10 sweet shops, including the super-popular popcorn brand KuKuRuZa Popcorn, which originated in Seattle and drew long lines in Tokyo’s Omotesando—this will be its first entry into Taiwan. Impression and Hokkaido Bimi Ourai are also exclusive to Taiwan.

The international luxury brand OUT MALL is expected to feature brands such as Versace, ARMANI OUTLET, a. testoni, MaxMara, Michael Kors, ETRO, ISSEY MIYAKE, SHIATZY CHEN, DAKS Outlet, Kate Spade, FURLA, I.T, JUICY COUTURE, and Tommy Hilfiger, with renowned luxury and international brands setting up shop.

Expected domestic and international sports and outdoor brands include Nike Factory Store, adidas, Puma, New Balance, Under Armour, The North Face, Columbia, Mont-bell, and Timberland.
