The newly renovated Aqua Lounge debuts with distinct Lounge and Bar spaces

Situated on the first floor of Taipei’s Ambassador Hotel, Aqua Lounge features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the verdant tree-lined Zhongshan North Road. Following renovations in December 2015, it reopened in January 2016, redesigned with varying colors, lighting, and music to create two separate spaces and atmospheres: Aqua Lounge and Aqua Bar.

As winter is the peak season for berries, Aqua Lounge has launched its “Berry Good Times” wellness afternoon tea, available now at NT$540+10% per person. The set includes savory and sweet offerings such as smoked chicken mousse with strawberry toast, refreshing seafood strawberry tarts, and crispy light berry and spring vegetable rolls, along with desserts like raspberry rose macarons, strawberry tarts, kiwi fruit tarts, red berry cheesecake, pomelo tarts, pearl rice chocolate tarts, strawberry chocolate éclairs, and chestnut financier cakes. Coffee or Twining tea (choose one from four flavors: Darjeeling, chamomile, berry, or mint) is also included.

Aqua Bar houses a collection of classic Japanese whiskies, regularly featuring selections such as Yoichi 15 and 20 years, Yamazaki 18 years, Hibiki 17 and 21 years, and Nikka 17 and 21 years. In addition, the bar offers wines, various beverages, cocktails, and bar snacks, with pairing bites including Thai-style peanut meat sauce crispy crackers, Thai-style money shrimp cakes, Tarta sauce squid rings, American cheese and wagyu burgers, and crispy potato skins with nuts.
