A tea garden hill just a five-minute walk away offers the most stunning sea of clouds view (seam card).

The young boss of Gu Yi will take hikers up mountains and down to the sea to find photo spots (not available if you’re married — don’t flirt with him)

Hongyi Landscape Tea Garden Elevation Overview:

At 9 km on County Road 151 in Lugu — there’s a 7-11, but don’t go in to shop, just get ready to turn right

Turn right onto Guangfu Road (near the Taiwan chicken shop) and head toward Xiaobantian

Turn left onto Provincial Highway 55 = Aixiang Road

Pass by the (Bogong) Earth God Temple and get ready to turn right uphill

At 16.8 km on Provincial Highway 55, turn right and drive uphill

Along the way, look for signs for Wuxiu, Wenjing, and Old K Farm — just follow them

After the parking lot (with public restrooms), turn left and go uphill

After about 50 meters, turn right and drive for about 2 km to arrive

Turn right and you’ll reach Hongyi Tea Field Campsite in about 5 minutes (parking is available along the road)

Gear can be taken up to the 2nd and 3rd floors via a cargo elevator — super convenient

Go up to the 3rd floor to reach today’s camping scenic area (6 electric rolling doors can be opened)

The most popular chill mode is now activated

First, let’s introduce the hottest chill platform area: (the viewing area is public)

Generally, tents are set up on the concrete side

Almost all the wooden flooring is used as a resting space — it’s huge

There’s one sink provided — please use it with care

There’s one power outlet on each side — bring a three-outlet adapter for convenience

In front is the chill tea brewing area — feel free to chat with the owner and enjoy some tea, it’s pretty great

This week I came with friends to book the whole place for camping — the camping spots are insanely spacious

This kind of site isn’t affected by bad weather — you can chill inside however you like

20-year-old tent, about 240 cm wide — you can estimate the size of the camping spot yourself

Next, let’s introduce the elevator area, which is closer to the kitchen, bathroom, and toilets: (stairs lead to the first-floor entrance)

As the name suggests, the elevator area is right where the elevator lets you out

It’s a much larger space than the chill platform area

In summer, you can turn on the fans — it’s very cool and breezy

There is one power socket on each of the four sides (there are two in the kitchen near the sink).

There is a small lounge area behind the elevator that can be used freely.

This time, I checked in with two photography-loving friends using a very simple tent setup.

This relaxing trip was spent almost entirely in the rain (I took night shots while holding an umbrella myself).

But for the sake of those grand rainy-day landscapes, it was totally worth it.

The most thoughtful part of Hongyi Tea Factory is the kitchen area (where campers can gather to cook).

The emergency exit is located between the sink and washing machine (the karaoke room on the left is only available for private bookings).

There is also a water dispenser providing cold, warm, and hot water.

Large professional stoves are available for events (need to discuss with the factory owner).

The bathrooms are simple — just two of them.

One squat toilet and one sit-down toilet (there are also two on the 2nd floor, with dormitory-style bunks available).

For male use only.

The living room in the 2nd-floor dormitory area is also a great spot for tea and conversation (the bathroom is just past the entrance on the front right).

Clean hallway where both sides offer simple accommodation options.

Inside the dormitory area: sleeps up to four people with bedding provided.

Those not used to dorms can bring their own sleeping bags for added comfort.

The beauty of Xitou can be enjoyed in all seasons—come to the ginkgo forest to experience a golden visual feast.

To see this golden forest, it will be even more beautiful when you visit next week.

The Golden Path lives up to its name—stroll slowly through it and enjoy nature’s gifts.

From the ginkgo forest, you can gaze at the mountains shrouded in sea of clouds—it’s truly moving (photo).

Even with bad weather, a sudden sea of clouds surged at Xitou—it’s incredible (photo).

In the far distance, you can see... Qingjing Farm (Mount Jiji is also visible) (photo).

The ginkgo forest in this season is absolutely worth a visit—isn’t it?

During the crisp autumn weather, you can also plan to visit Dexing Waterfall for some splashing fun.

The cool temperature is perfect for enjoying the area.

Tianma Park is a lovely little spot to explore and a must-pass on the way to Yangwan Camping.

Xitou Hongyi Tea Garden Scenic Camping Site — Information Overview:

Camping Note 1: Provided for (camping lovers, tea drinkers, chat enthusiasts, and photography fans) — not a professional campsite.
Camping Note 2: There is a dedicated scenic viewing area, but the most beautiful panoramic views are right by the tea garden path.
Camping Note 3: The tea factory area is very clean — please take care of all factory equipment and do not damage anything.　
Camping Note 4: Indoor camping may have echo effects — please keep your voice low when walking at night.
Camping Note 5: For indoor camping, try to use inner tents and avoid setting up large tents that may block entry and exit.
Camping Note 6: Trash disposal is difficult in high-altitude areas — please minimize waste and sort it properly.
Camping Note 7: From mid-April to mid-May and mid-October to mid-November, due to farming busy season, reservations are not accepted.
