“Plum blossoms everywhere under the sky, the colder it gets, the more they bloom.” With the arrival of the cold wave, plum blossoms have also bloomed accordingly. Located in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, Houluodi is renowned for its efficacious temple and the spectacular nighttime cityscape view, making it one of the key attractions in the area. This season, it has gained an additional charm as snow-white plum blossoms blanket the area, creating an alternative “snowfall.”

As temperatures have plummeted, plum blossoms have bloomed profusely around the Nanshan Fude Temple in Zhonghe District, commonly known as Houluodi, adorning the area with a layer of white. When the wind blows, the falling petals create an illusion of snowfall. However, due to the cooler mountain temperatures, visitors hoping to enjoy the plum blossom scenery should dress warmly to ward off the cold and fully embrace the charm of the plum blossom season.

Transportation:

1. Bus:
Take bus No. 241, 275, or 1080 and get off at “Zhonghe Junior High School Station,” or take bus No. 249 or 670 to Houluodi Station, then walk south along Section 2 of Xingnan Road, turn left at Lane 399, and head downhill.

2. MRT:
Take the MRT to “Nanshihjiao Station” and transfer to the Zhonghe District MRT shuttle bus to Houluodi.
