See Japan’s Three Great Gardens and Three Major Waterfalls in One Trip – Vanilla Air Launches Flights to Ibaraki in March

There’s a new Japanese route from a low-cost carrier. Vanilla Air is set to officially launch flights between Taipei and Ibaraki starting March 15, becoming Taiwan’s first low-cost airline to operate this route.

According to the Ibaraki Airport official website, Vanilla Air’s Taipei–Ibaraki flights are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Taipei departure time is 07:00, arriving in Ibaraki at 11:10; the return flight departs Ibaraki at 12:10 and arrives in Taipei at 14:35—making it an ideal early departure, midday return option for travelers.

After obtaining approval to operate flights to Japan, Vanilla Air has successively launched services to Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Ibaraki will be its latest destination. Tokyo (Haneda) is also among the routes Vanilla Air is actively planning. The airline noted that Ibaraki boasts stunning scenery, including one of Japan’s Three Major Waterfalls—Hijikawa (Bagua) Waterfall—and one of its Three Great Gardens—Kairaku-en—as well as Hitachi Station, known as one of the most beautiful train stations in the world, showcasing the area’s strong tourism potential.
