Taiwanese people enjoy hot pot regardless of the season, but to win public favor, businesses spare no effort in introducing a variety of delicious dishes and high-quality ingredients. HowToTrip’s hot pot brand “Ju” (聚) has launched three new dishes designed for two people to share, including the hearty “Hokkaido Ishikari Hot Pot” and the “Hokkaido Yukimi Hot Pot.” The Hokkaido Ishikari Hot Pot is a local fisherman’s dish from Hokkaido, featuring salmon paired with various seafood, while the Hokkaido Yukimi Hot Pot is a Japanese-style hot pot specially developed by the chef, made with plenty of mashed white radish and a rich pork bone and kelp broth.

HowToTrip stated that it observed that customers at “Ju” mostly dine in groups. Following the variation in menu items, the second phase has now commenced. While retaining existing single-person set meals, new shared menus for two people have also been introduced: the “Hokkaido Ishikari Hot Pot” and the “Hokkaido Yukimi Hot Pot,” both with upgraded ingredients. The Hokkaido Ishikari Hot Pot is a local fisherman’s dish from Hokkaido, featuring salmon paired with a variety of seafood and seasonal vegetables to create a rich and fulfilling hot pot meal. It is served with a spicy miso and kelp broth that becomes even more flavorful after simmering, symbolizing the distinctive taste of Hokkaido. The Hokkaido Yukimi Hot Pot combines a generous amount of mashed white radish with a rich pork bone and kelp broth. Not only does it help cut through grease and richness, but the longer it simmers, the more you can enjoy the natural sweetness of the white radish.

Additionally, as Lunar New Year approaches, Ju has launched for the first time a “Emperor Crab Sea-and-Land Reunion Set Meal” for four people to share. The seafood platter highlights premium Chilean frozen emperor crab legs, selected for their generous meat content, and is paired with angel shrimp, trumpet shells, salmon, and clams. The meat platter features tender and juicy beef chuck flap, paired with Q-textured wing rib beef, or the shoulder butt of Taiwan’s black-haired pig. The original price is NT$3,200, with a limited-time trial price of NT$2,680 (+10% service charge) available from February 1 to February 29.
