Timely & Creative: DIY "Rabbit God" Latte Art at Cafés in Just 5 Steps

Taipei's Lantern Festival centerpiece, the "Rabbit God," has recently sparked a heated discussion in Taiwan, with netizens creating parody images, animations, and even apps. Today (30th), a café owner got creative and developed a "Rabbit God" latte art, using milk foam to outline the character’s body and expressive eyes. The steps are simple, and the result is super cute.

This adorable "Rabbit God" coffee was created by Lin [name redacted], owner of Kava Coffee Fubei Branch. He said making this latte art takes only five minutes. The process involves first stacking two blobs of milk foam in the cup, then outlining the body shape while preventing the foam from spreading, followed by drawing the facial features and using chocolate syrup for the eyes. Though quite labor-intensive, the final result is incredibly fun. Lin added that because the lantern display was rather eerie this year, he hadn’t expected such a positive reaction. The design was well-received, so he’s happy to offer this special to customers and can also create custom designs upon request.
